Recalling my schooling days I think those days were much smoothereven though my heart did panic as the exams neared...but since we were at school we were FORCED TO BE SINCERE so it wasn't all that bad!!
Coming to undergraduate I relate the PL's (the days we get to prepare for our university exams for the engineering cousework) to nothing less than NIGHTMARE! A month of forgetting everything the place, the friends, the time, and even the food !!
Even now during Graduate studies the feeling still hasn't changed much. Exam days are still the days that bring a lot of stress and result in shedding a couple of those extra pounds that we gain during the semester lol :D
One fine day the semester starts,
we have a new zeal in our hearts.
to start afresh & get great grades,
with the confidence like the "ace of spades".
one by one the days go by,
we dont loose hope nor do we cry.
we fail one exam and bunk a few,
but never loose faith & thats so true.
here come the final exams,
where we are to be butchered like the lambs.
we struggle with this and mug up that,
stuck up with books like a trapped rat.
we study sleeplessly with our best friend,
which is COFFEE that supports us till the end.
finally its time and we give the exams,
and we have a new stress on our hands.
are we going to PASS or are we going to FAIL,
this adds up to our tensions and makes us frail !!!
